A little bit about me...

I was born and raised in Germantown, Wisconsin.  I come from a very close family of 7.  Ever since I can remember I have wanted to be a teacher.  I have attended Catholic schools for my whole life.  I attended St. Boniface Elementary School and then went to high school at Trinity Academy, a small K-12 Catholic school.  I then attended undergrad at Loras College in Dubuque, IA, where I majored in elementary education with endorsements in early childhood and special education.  After graduating in 2013, I then moved back home to Wisconsin to take a 4 year old kindergarten teaching position at my Alma Mater, Trinity Academy.  I then moved to California to continue my education at Loyola Marymount. I graduated last May with my Master's in Reading Instruction.  I have always felt particularly drawn to teaching the youngest children.  Children will only ever have one first experience of school, and this experience can set the tone for the rest of their academic lives.  My goal is to foster a love of learning and an enthusiasm for faith in the children I teach.  I am excited to continue my teaching career at Blessed Sacrament. I am so grateful for this opportunity and I look forward to seeing what the rest of the year has in store for us here in Kindergarten!
