Blessed Sacrament partnered with Catapult Learning Services to offer three parent workshops this year. The classes are Reading with Your Child, Parent Involvement with Your School, and Developing Lifelong Learners.
Our first parent workshop Reading with Your Child is on Tuesday, November 4 at 6:00 PM in the school auditorium.
This class emphasizes those things that parents can do to support their children’s growth as readers. The need for daily reading time, whether independently or with a parent as a reading partner, listening to a read aloud, and strategies parents can use to help children build their comprehension skills, will be introduced, and sample activities provided.
